Why Should You Avoid Rectified Spirit and ENA?
Rectified Spirit and Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA) are food and industrial-grade ethanols. They are not denatured for cosmetic use, and they carry residual fusel oils and aldehydes from fermentation that create a harsh, sometimes medicinal edge in the opening of any fragrance oil dissolved in them.
