The glass is dark but still transparent
Deep amber brown reads almost black head-on, but light passing through it turns warm amber-orange, and the beveled edges throw crystal-clear reflections. That is the difference between this and a solid opaque black bottle - your fragrance still glows through rather than being hidden completely.

Is the glass black or amber?
Both, depending on the light. Deep amber brown reads almost black when you look straight at it, but light passing through turns it a warm amber-orange, and the beveled edges catch bright clear reflections. It is transparent rather than opaque, so the fragrance inside still contributes to the effect.
What is the cap texture?
A fine vertical grain running down the cap, inspired by natural wood grain but executed in matte black. It gives a tactile contrast against the polished glass body without introducing a second material or colour. The texture itself can be customised to your own pattern if you want something distinctive.
Where does my branding go on this bottle?
The flat rectangular face is left completely clear, which gives one of the cleanest print areas in our range. Gold or silver foil stamping reads particularly strongly against dark glass. Custom cap branding is also available if you want your mark on the cap rather than the body. Share your artwork and we will send a mock-up first.
Is this suitable for oud?
It is one of the more natural fits in our range. Amber glass under a heavy black cap is the classic oud pairing, and the thick architectural base gives the substantial presence that market expects. At 50ml it also sits at a workable price point for a premium oud line rather than a collector-only format.
Why does the beveling matter on a dark bottle?
Dark glass absorbs light, so a plain dark rectangle can read flat and heavy. Beveled edges give the bottle bright clear lines around its outline, which is what stops it looking like a solid block and adds the architectural quality the design is built around.
